Withdraw your balance
Withdraw any remaining wallet balance to your registered bank account. Most platforms will not process deletion with a positive balance.
How to request deletion, what happens to your data and balance, and how long the process takes.
This chapter is a reader-first reference for closing your account. Closing an account is a normal customer action — every reputable platform provides a path to it — and the platform is required to honour the request within a stated timeline. We describe the typical process and what to verify before you start.
Before you request deletion, withdraw any remaining balance. Most platforms will not process a deletion with a positive balance; they will hold the balance for a recovery period and then return it to your registered bank account.

If you have any active VIP or subscription benefits, cancel them before requesting deletion. Some platforms charge a non-refundable fee for the current period.
Download your account history (deposits, withdrawals, session logs) before you close. Most platforms keep this for 90 days after deletion, then erase it.
If you are closing because of a tilt streak or a loss, consider a time-out instead. Deletion is permanent; time-out is reversible.
Most platforms have a "Delete account" link in the settings or responsible-play section. The link takes you to a confirmation screen; you confirm your password or enter an OTP.
Most platforms impose a 7-day cooling-off period between the request and the actual deletion. The cooling-off exists to prevent impulsive deletion; if you change your mind, you can cancel during the cooling-off.
Your PAN and Aadhaar copies are retained for the period required by the regulator (typically 5–7 years from the last transaction), then erased. The platform cannot erase these earlier; the regulator's retention rule overrides.
Gameplay logs are retained for the same period as KYC. They are not exposed publicly; they exist for dispute resolution and regulator audits.
Most platforms add you to a suppression list on deletion, which means you stop receiving marketing mail. Transactional mail (about your account) is part of the regulatory record and may continue until the records are erased.
Your linked bank account and UPI handle are removed from the platform. They may be retained in the regulator's record per the same retention rule.
If you are closing because of a tilt streak, consider a time-out instead.

Account deletion is almost never an instant wipe. Operators keep a cooling-off window so a rushed click after a bad session does not erase a wallet you still meant to empty. During that window the login may still work, support can reverse the request, and any pending withdrawal continues under the original bank details.
After cooling-off the account moves into a recovery hold. Balances that were not withdrawn earlier are pushed to the registered payout rail if the KYC file is clean. If the rail fails, support opens a ticket instead of silently zeroing the wallet. Game history is retained for dispute windows required by payment partners, then hard-deleted on a published schedule.
Treat the request as a multi-step ops job, not a single button. Screenshot the confirmation ID, note the cooling-off end date, and keep the email thread until the final erase notice arrives. If no erase notice appears after the stated window, escalate with the confirmation ID rather than opening a second deletion request.
OTP or password confirm; confirmation ID issued; wallet usually locked for new deposits.
Login may remain; reverse path available; pending withdrawals finish or fail visibly.
Payout of residual balance; KYC re-check if bank details mismatch.
Profile, device tokens, and marketing lists removed per retention policy.
Cash balance and bonus balance are not the same ledger line. Cash is withdrawable subject to KYC. Bonus is usually non-withdrawable and dies with the account once the deletion request is accepted. Refer-a-friend credit sitting in a pending state often expires rather than converting to cash during deletion.
If a bonus wagering requirement is half-finished, finishing it after a deletion request is rarely allowed. Do not assume you can clear wagering and then delete in the same evening. Withdraw cash first, cancel any paid subscription, export statements, then open the delete flow.
Tax documents or annual statements, if the operator issues them, should be downloaded before erase. After final delete, support will not regenerate PDF statements from a wiped profile.
Field note attached to this chapter: a still from the desk library that matches the practical steps on this route.
Positive cash balance is the number-one reason deletion stalls.
Unfinished bonus lines almost never survive a closed profile.
Unclaimed refer credit is not a bank transfer waiting to happen.
VIP cycles can bill once more if you delete mid-cycle without cancelling.
Run this script in order. If any line fails, stop and fix that line first. Deletion is the last step, not the first reaction to a frustrating table.
Download deposits, withdrawals, and session logs for at least 90 days.
Withdraw to the same bank or UPI that passed KYC.
Cancel subscriptions and unlink secondary devices you no longer own.
If the trigger is tilt, take a 24-hour time-out instead of permanent erase.
Use in-app delete when available; email-only requests need a clearer paper trail.
Store confirmation ID and cooling-off end date outside the app.
Many operators block re-registration on the same KYC for a cooling period. Assume the number is tied up until erase completes.
Finish or fail the withdrawal first. Deletion with an open payout ticket creates the messiest support threads.
If you only need distance after losses, use responsible-play limits. Deletion is for leaving the product, not for a weekend reset.
Shared phones complicate deletion. If a second adult used the same device with a different account, clear app data only after both profiles are handled. Do not factory-reset a phone mid-withdrawal.
KYC that used a family member’s document is a compliance problem, not a support shortcut. Deletion will not “fix” a mismatched PAN. Resolve identity issues while the account still exists.
Moving to a restricted state does not always auto-close the account. Some products geofence new play but leave the wallet open for withdrawal. Prefer an explicit delete or a formal closure ticket over assuming relocation wipes the profile.
| Situation | Preferred action | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Open withdrawal | Wait for success/fail | Avoids orphaned payout tickets |
| Active bonus wagering | Forfeit or finish before delete | Bonus rarely converts mid-delete |
| Tilt after losses | Time-out / deposit cap | Reversible; deletion is not |
| State restriction | Withdraw + delete or freeze | Geofence alone is not closure |
| Shared device | Delete then clear app data | Stops OTP and session bleed |
Account deletion is not only a button. It is a short records project. Before and after you submit the request, keep local copies of what you may need for bank disputes, tax questions, or a mistaken-request recovery window: final wallet balances, recent withdrawal ids, KYC reference numbers, and the deletion confirmation text with time.
Cooling-off periods exist so a frustrated night does not erase an account you still need for a pending payout. Use that window deliberately. If money is still in review, prioritise clearing the rail before you accelerate erasure. Deleting first and ticketting later is how balances become archaeological.
On shared devices, deletion of the account is incomplete if sessions remain. Sign out everywhere you can, remove saved passwords from browsers, and delete local APKs you no longer trust. Family phones often resurrect old sessions through autofill even after the cloud account is gone.
Balances and pending withdrawals with timestamps.
Deletion or support reference in plain text.
Sessions, passwords, installer files cleared.
If you might return under a new eligibility reality months later, do not assume the same phone number and documents will recreate the old identity automatically. Policies on rejoining after deletion vary and may treat you as a new user — or block you if fraud systems still link the device. Read the exit notice for rejoin language while you still have access to it.
